In 1979, Christian leaders in this community acted on faith to open a college preparatory Christian school on the former Columbia Military Academy campus. The school became Columbia Academy and to this day is continuing to fulfill the mission established by its founders. Over the years, hundreds of students have been a part of this campus family and have experienced true learning - at both a spiritual and intellectual level. At CA, we strive daily to maintain an atmosphere of encouragement while challenging our students to achieve their very best.

To know if Columbia Academy is the right place for your family, we encourage you to take advantage of several opportunities to learn more the experience at CA.
Campus Visit
Schedule a campus visit for your family with our admissions staff. A campus visit includes a tour of our historic grounds and the opportunity to see our students in their daily learning environment. In addition to a tour, you will receive admission information and be able to discuss your child's education on a personal level. We can also schedule a time for you to meet with administrators and/or teachers.
Student Shadowing
For your child, we encourage you to schedule a time for “shadowing” a current CA student at his or her grade level. Children who spend the day or a portion of the day with our students leave with a first-hand experience of what it means to be a part of the CA family.
