The Accelerated Reading parent company began a new program on September 4, 2007.It is called Book Finder. From any computer with internet you can look up books to see the reading level and point value of the quiz for that book. They also have included a sentence to tell about the book and a picture of the cover. (Not all books will have that cover but can be matched by the title and author being the same.) If you find it in Book Finder we have the quiz available at CA. This is new so there could be a few bugs still to be worked out. I took a quick look yesterday and really liked what I saw. You can just check on a book or fill your book bag then print a list for later. Just remember that the students need to keep to their reading range (example - 2.4-4.8). Do not go for all the points in one book, usually that is when the students have the most trouble on a quiz. Try this out at: http://www.arbookfind.com/
Hope this is useful to everyone.
