Spring Hill Campus

Parent Clubs & Organizations

Four very active support groups contribute time, talents, and financial revenue to Columbia Academy. The work of parents and many other interested supporters offer a strong base of support to the school.

Ladies Auxiliary For Christian Education (L.A.C.E.)

The L.A.C.E. organization was chartered at the inception of Columbia Academy by a group of ladies that took it upon themselves to feel a need to help raise money for the school.   These original groups of ladies were known as the Columbia Academy Associates.    They volunteered many hours over the years and were instrumental in improving the school and its surroundings.     L.A.C.E.  evolved from this group of ladies and was renamed by one of its charter members in January 2001.  Since then, L.A.C.E. members have volunteered their time and talents to improve and assist with anything Columbia Academy needs to be a stronger Christian school.    Some of the items they have purchased include improvements to the cafeteria with new ovens, tables, chairs, a new computer system to assist with daily lunch activity and new lighting for the student parking lot and gym.  The fundraiser each year has been the annual Valentine Benefit Dinner and proceeds from the Dawg House Gift Shop located in Moore Hall to assist in raising additional funds for projects needed throughout the entire school year.  The hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with special late hours throughout the year.   If you would like to join L.A.C.E., membership forms and information are available at any office on campus and also at the Dawg House.  If you have questions, please feel free to contact Brenda Bishop or Joanna Mastalerz by phone at 388-6669 or by email dawghouse@colacademy.com.
