Columbia Academy
competes athletically in Class A Division of the Tennessee Secondary
Schools Athletic Association (TSSAA) .
Teams compete
actively on the high school and junior high level. Columbia Academy
has over 21 athletic sport teams: football, baseball, golf, tennis,
basketball, girl’s softball, girl’s volleyball, soccer,
bowling, cheerleading, track and cross country.
Over 60% of
the upper school students participate in one or more sports. Jr.
High students are eligible to try out for football, baseball, softball,
basketball, soccer, golf and cheerleading.
All basketball games will be broadcast live with video stream on the internet. Go to www.atwsportscast.com and listen to Gregg Elrod and Alan Thomason call the play by play action as you watch the game live.
