Lower School:
Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4-H

Upper School:

Student Council, National Honor Society, Yearbook Staff, Jr. Civitan, Volunteer Civitan, Mock Trial Team, clubs for Drama, Math, Science, Spanish, and Journalism.

Athletics:
Columbia Academy competes athletically in Class A Division of the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association (TSSAA). Teams compete actively on the high school and junior high level. Columbia Academy has over 21 athletic sport teams: football, baseball, golf, tennis, basketball, girl's softball, girl's volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, bowling, track and cross country. Over 60% of the upper school students participate in one or more sports.

Jr. High students are eligible to try out for football, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, golf and cheerleading.

Band:
The band program began in 1994 with ten members and has maintained an impressive presence on the campus of Columbia Academy.  Mr. Phillip Brown is the current director of the program.
  • Many of the students have participated in All Mid-State Band
  • Students have been selected to participate in the prestigious Tennessee Governors School of the Arts
  • The band has participated and won first place awards in contests in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Dallas and Toronto, Canada
  • The band has received approximately200 individual superior ratings in the Solo and Ensemble Festivals and  superior ratings at Concert Festivals
